CULTURE, ENTERTAINMENT, AND FUN

The Crawford County Historical Society is an active contributor to the community, offering a full calendar of events year-round. Our events are intended to appeal to every age and many interests, and they are made possible, in part, thanks to our many corporate sponsors.

OUR RANGE OF EVENTS

The Society is pleased to offer a wide variety of events ranging from re-enactments to movie nights on the lawn.

Others include dinner theaters, offering mystery and laughter for patrons as they enjoy a delicious meal in a historic setting. For the culture lovers, the Society offers expert speakers, an annual special exhibit gala, and special concerts. The Society also considers itself to be “hip” (do kids still say that?) too. Young folk (and the young-at-heart) can enjoy the nightlife at events such as our 1920s-themed New Years’ Eve Celebration, and the costumed Millennial Monster Mash held at Halloween.

All this and we haven’t even mentioned our most popular event, the Eleanor Davies Croquet Classic and Garden Party. It’s a can’t miss event held every July that draws in people from across the region who want to show off their fancy duds and skills with a mallet on the lush front lawns of Meadville’s grand mansions along Terrace Street.

FOR MORE EVENT DETAILS

The Crawford County Historical Society cordially invites you to all of our events.

While many of these events are free, others do require tickets with proceeds being applied to help the society meet its financial responsibilities.
