What is a lineage society? A lineage society is a group that has requirements to join based on your ancestry. Lineage societies are a great resource for tracing your ancestral roots.
Many of these organizations accept members who have the proper credentials. Below is a listing of many of the prominent lineage organizations with links to their Pennsylvania and individual chapters. Each site provides membership criteria and instructions along with contact information to request additional details.
